Administrative Services Assistant for UK Cooperative Extension Human Resources
Location: On Campus in Lexington, KY
This position provides administrative services support to the Cooperative Extension Human Resources Office. Duties include: 1) Management of Extension Human Resources processes such as hiring and onboarding, extensive use of the UK integrated employment system (IES), scheduling interviews, contacting references, recordkeeping and database management, utilization of SAP and BW systems for payroll actions and personnel reporting; 2) Information Delivery such as updating and maintaining personnel website, placing job advertisements and distribution of position announcements, communicating with applicants, employees and the general public; 3) Supporting Civil Rights compliance efforts such as becoming knowledgeable of Federal civil rights requirements for Extension, supporting the county program review process, monitoring required trainings, database management and recordkeeping; and 4) General office operations such as ordering supplies, inventory, processing expenses and procurement card charges, making travel arrangements, scheduling and calendar maintenance.
