The College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, Equine Analytical Chemistry Lab seeks a Research Analyst. The Research Analyst position is responsible for, but not limited to: participating in departmental research project activities. Analyze all test samples submitted using only the approved methods as described in the SOP’s. Perform extraction methods for the detection of drugs and/or metabolites. Assists with properly maintaining facilities, instruments, and equipment. Assist in monitor/recording maintenance on equipment in facilities involving; routine cleaning or decontamination. Ensure accurate and complete documentation of samples and results. Preparing complete description of the analysis performed and providing relevant tables and figures to the director and LC-Ms Scientist. Other duties as required or necessary.
