Laboratory Technician Senior

This position is located in Princeton, KY.
The College of Agriculture, Food and Environment department of Regulatory Services seeks a Laboratory Tech Senior. The position will prepare and analyze soil samples for soil fertility in a production-oriented laboratory. Duties include receiving, organizing and labeling samples; logging in sample information, drying, grinding, sieving, measuring, extracting, analysis, and cleaning. Laboratory testing includes pH, buffer pH, Mehlich III extractable nutrients and nitrate nitrogen. Must follow safe laboratory procedures, prepare chemical standards and reagents with minimal supervision, and maintain an inventory of chemicals and supplies.
