Location: Lexington, KY
This position will be the in-house expert in the Plant and Food Flavor Chemical Library (a chemical encyclopedia of flavor compounds for identification of molecules in gas-chromatography and mass-spectrometry analyses). The employee will training and provide guidance to other KTRDC scientists to use the library to identify novel or special chemicals. The employee will conduct and supervise research projects for manipulating the chemistry of tobacco, taking new approaches that involve molecular genetic manipulation.
