Agriculture Extension Associate Senior
Location: Lexington, KY
The Department of Plant and Soil Sciences in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment works towards developing sustainable food and crop production practices in Kentucky. This department is seeking a Senior Extension Associate to work with a team of scientists to conduct applied soil and water science research and deliver public outreach related to soil and water. This position is key for the educational programming related to soil and nutrient conservation activities in rural Kentucky. The successful candidate will contribute to remote sensing data collection efforts to evaluate management activities related to agricultural production of crops and forages. The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills and able to deliver educational programming through multiple media outlets including but not limited to oral presentations, extension bulletins, websites, videos, and podcasts.
