Join the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment: Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition in an exciting, hybrid role as the Coordinator for the Accelerated Coordinated Program (ACP) in Dietetics. We are looking for a creative Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) to grow with our program. Our ACP is recognized and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). As the ACP Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of this program, playing a vital role in shaping the future of nutrition and dietetics, facilitating students along their path to becoming a credentialed practitioner.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Provide mentoring, guidance, and regular communications to support student success in the ACP.
- Recruit and organize training and engagement for preceptors.
- Manage ACP student placements and records.
- Plan, develop, and implement creative and strategic marketing campaigns to engage future and current students in the department.
- Lead department efforts in undergraduate and graduate student recruitment.
- Coordinate alumni engagement communications and strategize alumni engagement opportunities.
- Provide creative support to other operations in the department such as career and professional development, enrichment programs and scholarship promotion.
