Location: Lexington, KY
The University of Kentucky Martin – Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is seeking a professional to join the Office of Philanthropy & Alumni. The Philanthropy Officer Associate will join a successful and growing team of philanthropy professionals and report to the Senior Director of Philanthropy & Alumni.
This role will oversee and execute fundraising initiatives for the Departments of Agriculture Economics, Entomology, and the Kentucky Ag Leadership Program. This position will develop and maintain a portfolio of between 125 and 150 donors and prospects with a giving capacity of $5,000 or more. They will work closely with various stakeholders, leaders, faculty, attend programmatic meetings, and represent philanthropy interests to donors and volunteers. Previous experience in fundraising or related fields is preferred, and travel is expected.
