Location: Lexington, KY

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment – Kentucky Tobacco Research & Development Center (KTRDC) seeks an Administrative Support Associate. This position is primarily responsible for administrative duties, travel, purchasing and monthly reconciliations. Duties include, but are not limited to: responsible for purchasing for KTRDC and the CTRP Program. Additional duties include monitoring all Procard vouchers to ensure that documentation is complete, funds are available, and purchases are made in accordance with university and department guidelines. The Administrative Support Associate also plays a vital role in educating unit faculty/staff regarding UK purchasing regulations, while also ensuring confidentiality of financial activities. Manage travel request and expense reports in Concur. Work with employees to arrange travel, including use of the UK Concur system and other reservations. Manage the travel reimbursement process; to include, collect receipts, check legitimacy of and process travel reimbursements. Assist with monthly and year-end reconciliations. Prepare reports, gather documentation, check legitimacy for monthly account reconciliations. Create and track posting of check/cash transmittals and Journal Vouchers. Knowledge of purchasing procedure a plus.
