Location: Lexington, KY

The Food Connection, an applied local food systems unit housed in the UK Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, is seeking a Learning Kitchen Manager. This position will oversee the programming held both at The Food Connection learning kitchen and off-site with campus or off-campus strategic partners. The Learning Kitchen Manager will work with faculty, staff, and community collaborators to develop interactive classes that allow participants to experience local food and get a taste of local food system work. Primary emphasis will be placed on the values of local, seasonal, and sustainable food products and justice, inclusion, and equity within the local food system.
