Location: Lexington, KY
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
seeks a Veterinary Technician Clinical. The UKVDL’s primary mission is to develop, apply and utilize state-of-the-art technology and scientific knowledge to improve animal health and marketability, preserve the human-animal bond, and to protect the public health in the true spirit of One Health.
This position is in the Clinical Pathology Laboratory at the UKVDL. Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- performing differentials,
- identifying fecal parasites
- running/troubleshooting lab equipment
- review QC and calibration data
- enter and distribute results
This position has the potential for supervisory duties in the future.
