Location: Lexington, KY
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering seeks an Engineer Associate IV/Research. This is a grant funded position.
Job responsibilities of this position include:
Manage project resources and personnel to meet project deadlines. Responsible for conducting meetings of PI subgroups and the full project group to facilitate communication. Track decision points, and log decisions. Direct and supervise project activities, maintain data records together with experimental protocols, manage QAQC samples/records, prepare quarterly reports to the grantee agency, publish research in peer-reviewed journals, and present research at conferences.
Responsible for the operation of on-campus research facilities (CEBA 169, 170, 172); ensure that facilities and equipment are maintained; ensure that operations are safe and researchers are properly trained and certified to work in the facilities; oversee the purchase of supplies and equipment. Develop proposals related to bioprocessing and circular bioeconomy.
