Location: Lexington, KY
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment’s Division of Regulatory Services seeks a Director of Laboratories and Soils Program. The Director provides leadership and guidance to all laboratory functions which support statewide regulatory and service programs. Our laboratories provide analysis of animal feed, fertilizer, seed, and bulk milk to support our mandate to enforce laws on the commerce of those products. Other regulatory programs administered by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture are supported by our laboratories with agricultural lime and hemp testing. The laboratories also support service programs offering testing of seed and soil to clientele in the state. The soils program involves close cooperation with University Extension County Offices and Soil Extension Specialists to provide quality service.
