Location: Lexington, KY

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food & Environment’s 4-H units seek a highly motivated individual with exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail for the role of Administrative Support for 4-H Specialists.

The individual in this role will provide administrative support for multiple 4-H program areas, including International Programs, Family and Consumer Sciences, Natural Resources, Livestock, Community Access and Engagement, Camping, and Shooting Sports.

Responsibilities include:

 

  • supply ordering and inventory management
  • processing business application transactions (using software SAP, SRM, PRD) including purchase orders and deposits
  • serve as the front office contact for the department.

This position requires versatility and adaptability, as the employee will need to pivot to new tasks quickly while maintaining a strong focus on customer service. Some local travel may be required to assist 4-H Specialists and support departmental goals.
